The Victorian Seniors Card Program aims to encourage businesses to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution seniors have made - and continue to make - to our communities and the State of Victoria.
By providing a benefit to Seniors Card holders, your business will be helping older Victorians to continue to live independent, active and healthy lives.
Benefits of joining
When you join as a supporter, your business is immediately licensed to use the "Seniors Card Welcome Here" logo. In addition, upon joining Victorian Seniors Card program, your business will automatically be assigned to one of our annual discount directories.
The directories are published under two themes in alternate years: "Retail and Services" and "Tourism and Recreation"
Directories are mailed out to all Victorian Seniors Card holders. Online versions of the directories are also available.
There are no fees for participating businesses. Businesses join by agreeing to provide a discount or special offer to card holders. New Zealand SuperGold Card
The New Zealand SuperGold Card is the equivalent of the Victorian Seniors Card program. The Victorian Government has signed an agreement with the New Zealand Government to enable businesses to extend discounts to New Zealanders SuperGold Card holders when they visit Victoria. Victorian card holders will also be able to use their Seniors Card when travelling in New Zealand.
When you join, Seniors Card allows you to choose whether you wish to extend your potential market even further by providing the same special offer to New Zealand SuperGold card holders, as well as Seniors Card holders in other States or Territories of Australia.
